MANAGER – DIGITAL AND CREATIVE MARKETING
POSITION SUMMARY
The Digital and Creative Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the Goodwill San Antonio brand through design and execution of campaigns, ensuring consistent institutional and promotional messaging in support of the organization’s mission. He/she will design, develop, and implement advertising, promotional, and marketing campaigns. The Digital and Creative Marketing Manager will create eye-catching design assets to include video, photo, and digital graphics. Additionally, the team member will work in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Coordinator in the development of campaign specific social media graphics.
The Digital and Creative Marketing Manager will participate in the development of marketing strategies that elevate awareness of the organization’s brand, mission, business lines, media relationships, and retail promotions. Additionally, he/she will stay abreast of emerging creative and video production trends and best practices, evaluating their relevancy as they pertain to Marketing’s goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative Strategies
- Develop creative marketing/advertising campaigns embodying the vision and message of the Organization and/or the Units [Business Services, Workforce Development, and Donated Goods & Retail] while ensuring campaign deadlines are met.
- Develop and present a variety of eye-catching graphic ideas for projects, including digital and print ads, website banners, flyers, direct mailers, email communications, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Engage in the development of video storyboards to ensure goals and client expectations are met. Record and edit videos based on approved storyboards.
- Exhibit a strong creative vision and understanding of stakeholders goals to translate business goals into impactful brand and campaign experiences.
- Mange creative strategy for both small-scale and large-scale projects, harnessing strategy, digital and brand design, compelling content, and technology.
- Advise on and conceptualize methodologies, tools, technologies, and platforms to invest in to streamline processes.
- Manage creative projects and submit updated summaries to management each month, outlining time tracking and progress status.
Brand Strategies
- Oversee the execution of brand identity, guidelines, and aesthetics across digital and traditional marketing mediums.
- Ensure all video, photography, and digital/print creative adhere to branding guidelines.
- Manage and update the Goodwill San Antonio brand, social media, blog, and other marketing guidelines related to creative and digital presence.
- Maintain the roadmap which captures the future outlook of the organization’s goals, events, and noteworthy news items to define touch points for Public Relations, Marketing, and social media promotion.
Digital Marketing
- Demonstrate familiarity with HTML and web design standards to efficiently work with web developers to effectively communicate the Goodwill San Antonio brand and our differentiators to our target audiences.
- Stay abreast of SEO best practices and techniques to maximize website exposure and visitor engagement.
- Create digital media graphics and video elements that reinforce messaging and content within social media posts and digital advertising.
- Analyze campaign and content performances, define KPIs, and report findings/recommendations to Marketing leadership.
Videography/Photography
- Record, edit, and publish video vignettes which captures how our mission has impacted lives within our community.
- Supervise the logistics and technical aspects of photo shoots, commercial production and event recordings.
- Collaborate cross functionally with internal stakeholders to develop messaging and video story boarding.
- Build and manage a library of success stories, Goodwill team members and current interior and exterior images of stores, donation stations, Good Careers Centers and Good Career Academies, which will track the current branding package of each location.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in graphic design
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Premier Pro, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of SEO, SEM, Web traffic metrics, KPI’s and audience persona research.
- Have the ability to take general ideas and transform them into creative concepts with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of principles and practice of graphic design, layout, storytelling, marketing concepts, print production and video compression. (sample portfolio)
- Firm understanding of video equipment, color temperature, lighting, audio recording and interviewee presentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively work as a team.

- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and ability to take initiative.
- Have a professional demeanor and be able to work with individuals across organizational hierarchy.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
- For positions that require driving, must maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance coverage, and be able to travel as needed if you drive your vehicle during company business.
