Assistant Marketing Manager (Events & Campaigns)

You will be part of a high-performing Marketing team responsible for supporting key business lines including Wholesale, Sub-Advisory, and Institutional clients. The team delivers audience-focused, digital-first, and data-informed marketing programs that elevate brand visibility and support product growth across Japan.
About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant Marketing Manager who will contribute to the planning and execution of product and brand marketing initiatives-spanning digital, print, and video-and collaborate closely with internal teams, agencies, and global partners.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Business Planning

• Support the development and execution of product and brand marketing strategies
• Focus on engaging B2B audiences such as distributors and institutional investors
• Assist in planning multi-channel campaigns (digital, print, video)

Content Development & Production

• Manage proofreading, layout, design coordination, and end-to-end content production
• Support video production including planning, filming, and editing

Stakeholder Coordination

• Serve as a communication hub between Marketing and internal partners (Sales, Compliance, Client Services, etc.)
• Coordinate with external agencies and prepare communication plans

Campaign & Project Management

• Assist with planning campaigns aligned to business priorities
• Manage project timelines, agency briefs, and campaign rollout
• Monitor results and contribute to continuous improvement

Operational Support

• Support BCP activities, budgeting processes, and vendor onboarding
• Provide administrative support to ensure smooth team operations

Experience & Qualifications Required:

• 1+ year in Japan's financial services industry
• Strong interest in investment or financial product marketing
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Business-level Japanese & English
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Independent, proactive workstyle

Preferred:

• Experience in digital, print, or video campaigns
• Experience in content production or translation
• Familiarity with tools such as Clipchamp
