The department is in charge of achieving the technical and financial targets of our cars and modules. We are developing the relevant processes, methods and tools for cost optimization. With our knowledge and competencies, also in technical and financial benchmarks, we are supporting the project management in running the operational cost reduction activities. In doing this we are not only scoping the synergies between Audi cars and models but also making use of an intensive exchange of cost reduction ideas with other brands of the VW group in Europe, China and America.
Job Purpose/Role
• Developing processes, methods and tools for cost optimization making use of capabilities like artificial intelligence (AI)
• Elaboration of technical and cost benchmarks
• Conducting activities (workshops, meetings, etc.) for cost reduction with stakeholders of relevant business units within Audi and other VW group brands
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
• A university degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Business Informatics) or a similar qualification
• Above-average academic performance
• Passion and knowledge for the application of analysis tools like big data and artificial intelligence
• Minimum of three months of international experience during your academic studies through internships or an exchange semester
• Practical experience of at least six months through relevant internships
• Fluent English and German B2
