Job Description
Join Azenta Life Sciences, a global leader in biospecimen management and genomic services. We drive scientific innovation across pharma, biotech, and healthcare worldwide. For our Project Management Office (PMO), we are looking for a Clinical Project Manager (m/f/d) for a temporary 1.5-year maternity leave cover.
Location: Griesheim (near Darmstadt) with 4 days on-site and 1 day home-office
Start: ASAP
How You'll Add Value
In this role, you will take full ownership of clinical projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes within defined timelines, milestones, and financial targets. As a Clinical Project Manager (m/f/d), you ensure that every project is executed in strict accordance with established protocols, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines. You play a key role in building, maintaining, and strengthening client relationships, serving as a trusted partner throughout the project lifecycle. Your ability to coordinate diverse internal and external stakeholders, manage risks, and uphold quality standards makes you an essential driver of project success.
What You'll Do
- Act as main contact for clients and project teams
- Manage timelines, scope, resources, and deliverables
- Ensure regulatory and quality compliance
- Track and report key project metrics
- Support risk management and process improvements
- Participate in pre-sales discussions and project planning
- Mentor and support PMO colleagues
What You'll Bring
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or a related field, or an equivalent qualification, including initial relevant professional experience.
- Ability to independently apply foundational knowledge in a professional setting.
- Experience in project management preferred.
- Knowledge of FDA/GxP environments preferred.
- Strong communication skills in German & English
- Excellent organizational skills and stakeholder management
- Independent, proactive working style
- Proficient in MS Office and project management tools
- Additional certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM) are a plus
- Additional languages welcome
