We are currently seeking an landscape architect/assistant project manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll contribute to the creation of high-quality design and construction documents while working as understudy to a current senior project manager. We envision the person filling this role to move into a project manager role after a period of acclimation to the firm’s design and production processes.
You’ll help shape project ideas through detailed drawings, compelling graphics, and thoughtful research, playing a vital role in the design process. Your work will directly support project outcomes grounded in ecological understanding, regulatory requirements, and client objectives. Requirements
The Landscape Architect / Assistant Project Manager is a mid-level team member with a minimum of 4–6 years of professional experience. The role includes both design, production and construction administration responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with senior designers and project managers to develop design concepts and solutions
- Produce high-quality presentation materials, including diagrams, renderings, and illustrative plans
- Prepare detail construction documents, including plans, details, and technical specifications
- Coordinate internal production efforts to ensure deliverables meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Organize and manage digital and physical project files, drawings, and documentation
- Conduct site analysis, research, and data collection to inform the design process
- Participate in client meetings and project coordination with consultants and team members
- Review drawings and documents for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Support the development of project schedules and task assignments under direction of senior project manager
- Construction administration, including shop drawing and submittal review, site observation, and preparation of punch lists and project acceptance.
- Maintain awareness of applicable codes, regulations, and best practices in landscape architecture
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative studio environment and uphold the firm’s design standards and values
We are seeking candidates with the following experience:
- Florida Sub-Tropical Plant knowledge
- High Profile Project Construction Experience
- Strong knowledge and experience with LandFX Applications
- Experience with Rhino, D5, Adobe Creative Suite
