Charterhouse are partnered with a Dubai-based electromechanical contracting company who have been a leading business in the region for over 20 years. Our client are an ISO certified company and specialises in MEP contracting. As the business continues to grow, they are looking to hire an experienced MEP Project Manager to support senior management.

About the Role

The MEP Project Manager will mainly be responsible for ensuring a plan is in place for all projects, so that technical and administrative tasks are completed efficiently from start to finish. The role is tasked with producing detailed labour requirements for each project, and coordinating with other departments to create activities schedules and programs of work.

The role also involved in the contractual and legal matter related to each project, while ensuring that each client is properly billed and payments are received which means that it would also be required to monitor and analyze project costs so that each is completed within the budget. In addition, the MEP Project Manager would also be supporting material procurement and other departments in order to ensure timely completion of projects, and then provide accurate project reports.

About You

The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in MEP contracting, with a proven ability to manage full projects from start to finish. The candidate should have the ability to communicate effectively with other departments, and have experience managing subcontractors and resolving technical issues.

Ideal candidate should have strong experience in monitoring costs, schedule, manpower and quality to ensure a smooth handover, while also being able to deal with clients directly. A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
