Ich steuere zentrale Projekte im Netzbetrieb und treibe so die Energiewende aktiv voran.
Das macht diesen Job für mich interessant: Ich übernehme die Gesamtverantwortung für Projekte im Netzbetrieb - von der Planung bis zur Umsetzung - und trage so aktiv zur Energiewende und zum sicheren Betrieb des Höchstspannungsnetzes bei. In interdisziplinären Teams bringe ich meine Ideen ein, entwickle mein Know-how weiter und arbeite in einer offenen, unterstützenden Teamkultur.

Meine Aufgaben

• Verantwortung für Termine, Budgets und Ressourcen in enger Abstimmung mit Fachbereichen, regionalen Ansprechpartner*innen und Dienstleistern (z. B. Gerätetausch),
• Sicherstellen der Einhaltung interner und externer Vorgaben, insbesondere zu Qualität, Arbeitssicherheit und Umweltschutz,
• Begleitung von Vergabeverfahren sowie Vertragsmanagement im Projekt,
• Organisation der Projektzusammenarbeit und des Informationsflusses sowie Weiterentwicklung von Standards im Projektmanagement.

Meine Kompetenzen

• Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium in Elektrotechnik oder Bauwesen (Master oder Diplom) oder vergleichbare Qualifikation,
• Erste Erfahrung im Projektmanagement,
• Verantwortungsbewusstsein, Organisationstalent und ausgeprägtes Gespür für Zusammenarbeit,
• Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office,
• Führerschein Klasse B,
• Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (C2) und gute Englischkenntnisse (B1).

Kein Muss, aber von Vorteil

• Erfahrung mit Infrastrukturprojekten oder dem Betrieb elektrischer / baulicher Anlagen,
• Kenntnisse in ERP-Systemen (z. B. SAP).

As one of the four transmission grid operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for high-voltage power transmission; control at this level is decisive for the stability of the grid and to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas. Individual activities such as IT or purchasing are organised at the group level, which means that in these areas colleagues from Elia and 50Hertz work in a team from both Berlin and Brussels.

Typical areas of work for construction engineers at 50Hertz

Asset Management: This involves developing the principles and guidelines required to handle the construction-related challenges that arise throughout the organisation.

Projects, cables, substations, and offshore: These divisions carry out all renovation and new build projects in our main areas of construction such as overhead power lines and cable traverses, substations, and switchgear, as well as offshore construction.

Grid operation: Here the status of our installations and structures is monitored, necessary actions are identified, and maintenance projects are initiated and implemented.
