Why are we hiring a Project Manager/Implementation Specialist?
The Project Manager/Implementation Specialist is a highly valued role where collaboration and a superior team player mindset is non-negotiable. As a Project Manager your mission is to be the primary liaison for our customers and to ensure success throughout the project life cycle. You will have overall operational responsibilities for: managing scope, leading teams, tracking, and reporting project status, and completing deliverables to execute projects on time and within budget. As an Implementation Specialist you will have an active role in delivering professional services to Instem clients in the region.
What to expect?
• Leads and/or supports assigned project(s)
• Determine project scope, budgets, risks and timelines with the input and support from cross-functional team members. Track, identify, and resolve scope changes as well as communicating changes to internal and external customers
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and resource requirements
• Develop and track project budgets
• Leads and/or supports the project team to achieve the established project objectives
• Regularly assesses and manages project risks/opportunities along with the required risk mitigation plans to ensure project objectives are accomplished
• Organize and facilitate internal and external project meetings, including agendas and action items. Influence requisite follow-up and actions necessary as determined in meetings to include incorporating lessons learned into future planning
• Provide regular project updates regarding project status and performance to internal management and customers
• Participate in the strategic planning for long range projects, including business impact
• Review project hours monthly to ensure accurate time reporting and adherence to budgets
• Produce top-notch written communications and deliver high quality and effective presentations
Skills you'll need:
- Native Japanese speaker
- Good business English
- Client facing project management experience.
- Experience with business to business enterprise level application implementation.
- Strong PM organizational, negotiation and communication skills.
