Douglas Fast Net (DFN) delivers high-speed fiber internet to homes and businesses across Lane, Douglas, and Coos counties. We’re looking for an experienced, driven Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects, support cross-functional teams, and ensure successful delivery of our fiber network initiatives.
This position is ideal for a seasoned project management professional with 2–5 years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The Senior Project Manager plays a critical role in keeping projects on track, removing roadblocks, and ensuring work is completed on time and within budget while supporting DFN’s commitment to outstanding customer service.

What You’ll Do
- Plan, direct, and oversee assigned projects from order intake through completion to ensure timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
- Monitor projects daily and proactively identify risks, delays, or barriers to completion.
- Develop and maintain automated reporting tools to track project timelines, task durations, and overall performance.
- Partner with internal departments to align schedules, coordinate resources, and maintain accurate project plans.
- Conduct workflow and process analysis, recommending and implementing improvements to increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing Coordinator to ensure materials are procured on time and within budget.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and issues clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support additional projects and duties as needed to meet business objectives.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Professional project management certification required
- 2–5 years of project management experience, preferably in telecommunications or construction
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to deadlines and budget controls
- Proven ability to build effective relationships with vendors, internal teams, and external partners
- Solid understanding of telecom industry operations, practices, and processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other industry-specific software applications
- Valid Oregon driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly delegate tasks
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional appearance and a customer-focused mindset
