The Metropolitan Council is the regional planning agency for the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area providing essential services to our region: transportation, wastewater treatment, growth and development of local communities, affordable housing programs, and regional park systems.
Our Information Services (IS) department of 140 members provides IT support to all Council divisions.
This position is eligible for hybrid (remote and onsite) teleworking.
The Senior Technical Project Manager must have extensive experience managing projects and small programs in both Waterfall & Agile environments that involve transformational initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful delivery of complex projects within agreed upon scope, schedule, and budget parameters while maintaining high standards of quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
Requirements
Any of the following combinations of education (in Computer Science, Business Management, Project Management, or similar) AND experience managing IT and business projects including successfully delivering solutions within designated timelines and 2 years in a lead role requiring project management and collaboration:
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience
- Associate degree and 7 years of experience
- High school diploma or GED and 9 years of experience
Salary Range: $93,017.60 - $150,862.40 Annually
