Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Executive / Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial construction projects—specifically in the retail grocery sector, with project values in the $15M–$20M range. An individual with addition industry experience such as Health care a plus!
This role requires a seasoned leader with 15–20 years of construction industry experience, including 15+ years as a Project Manager overseeing complex projects from start to finish.

The right candidate who excels in this position will have the ability to grow into a leadership role, with the potential to open and lead a satellite office in the Ohio/Kentucky region to continue to grow our local project team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring financial performance, scheduling, and quality standards are met.
- Manage all phases of large grocery retail construction projects, including client relations, subcontractor negotiations, and coordination with architects/engineers.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and staffing/resource plans.
- Oversee project accounting, billing (AIA/Sworn Statements), and documentation.
- Drive adherence to safety standards and project specifications on all job sites.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight to project teams and field staff.
- Serve as the primary client contact, fostering long-term relationships.
- Represent the company in building the Ohio/Kentucky market presence.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 15–20 years of progressive construction management experience.
- 15+ years as a Project Manager on large-scale commercial projects ($15M–$20M)
- Proven track record in retail grocery store construction (ground-up, start-to-finish).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Work experience is acceptable.
- PMP certification a plus.
- OSHA certification required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Exceptional leadership, client management, and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of project life cycles, risk management, critical path scheduling, and permitting.
