Description
As a Technical Project Manager III in Country Risk, you will help lead complex technology projects and programs that drive business goals and create value for clients, employees, and stakeholders. Applying a broad knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential to developing innovative solutions, along with leveraging analytical reasoning and adaptability skills to navigate through ambiguity and change. Your strong communication abilities will enable you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment on project objectives and governance. By optimizing resources and managing risks, you will contribute to the successful delivery of high-impact projects that shape the future of the firm.Job responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology projects
- Elicit and document comprehensive business and data flow requirements by engaging with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure alignment and feasibility
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing risk management strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, quality assurance, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Utilize technical fluency to evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendor products for project implementation
- Monitor project progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project or program lifecycle
- Conduct in-depth data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, providing actionable insights that support decision-making and key business initiatives
- Continuously enhance technical knowledge and stay current with industry trends, ensuring the application of best practices and innovative solutions to address evolving business needs
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills - Significant experience or equivalent expertise in solutions analysis, technical program management, or a related field, leading complex technology projects and programs in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities
- Strong technical writing skills, with a proven track record of translating complex information into clear and concise documentation for diverse stakeholder audiences
- Proven experience leading through the project lifecycle management, including influencing decision makers and adapting to changes as business needs evolve
- Advanced knowledge of data fluency, including experience in handling large, diverse data sets and generating insights to drive business objectives
- Strong technical fluency, with familiarity in current and relevant platforms, software tools, and technologies
- Proficient in stakeholder management, with a track record of establishing productive working relationships and driving mutually beneficial outcomes
- Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset, challenging the status quo
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage multiple stakeholders
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills - Experience working with or within compliance or regulatory management teams is beneficial
Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or AI/ML technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning, PMI-ACP). - Experience in platform modernization
- Understanding in how Cloud platforms, APIs, Microservices work
- Experience using Generative AI tools
- Hands on experience with MS 365 tools, such as, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook
- Banking, Financial Services or Payments background
