We look forward to the ride with you.Come Ride With Us as our Temporary Project Manager, Product Development at Cannondale's R&D site in Freiburg. In this role, you'll guide projects from concept to market launch and keep scope, schedules, budgets, and partners on track. You'll share clear updates with teams and stakeholders, manage reporting and data, and help plan future work and resources. You'll also contribute to process improvements within the development group and across departments to keep our work moving forward.
Note: Master Students are welcome to apply! This is a 6-month temporary, on-site role at our Freiburg location from April to October 2026, with a possibility for extension. The weekly schedule is within our standard operating hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 17:00 CET.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Oversee multiple development projects simultaneously with strong organization and time management
- Assess project scope to identify risks, timelines, and key deliverables
- Set clear expectations for design, engineering, specifications, and commercialization, and notify teams when action is needed
- Share concise, timely updates with stakeholders as required
- Coordinate across departments to ensure project deliverables align with business prioritiesIdentify, document, and resolve project issues or delays
- Contribute to process improvement efforts within the organization
- Support future project and resource planning with relevant teams
- Run weekly project and status meetings; document and share meeting notes
- Collaborate with the Taiwan office and monitor development, manufacturing, testing, and production activities
- Ensure projects reach completion on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with project management standards
- Prepare data, reports, and dashboards as needed
- Support the development, improvement, training, and application of PMO project management tools, methodologies, and processes
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's degree; Master's students or recent graduates with relevant project experience are welcome
- Experience managing projects through academic work, internships, or professional roles
- Proficient in organizing work, coordinating tasks, and keeping projects on schedule
- Able to set clear priorities and follow through on commitments
- Able to guide multiple tasks or projects at the same time
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Asana, or Workfront
- Familiarity with process mapping or workflow documentation is a plus
- PMP, Six Sigma, or similar certifications are a plus
