The Video Project Manager, Art Department is a support role within Gallagher's Art Department, our in-house creative agency. Gallagher's Video Project Manager is responsible for applying our average turnaround timing standards to stakeholder video and motion requests and keeping the divisional marketing team (stakeholders) and the Art Department team on track for all video/motion projects globally, based on goals and timelines communicated by the client.
Using strong organizational and time management skills, you'll facilitate a structured environment that ensures the video/motion team has all they need to do great work -movement of tasks and high-quality content within defined scope.
This role will collaborate with various internal teams at Gallagher, including Art Account Managers, Art Video Producers, and Art Motion Designers. Daily duties involve setting and communicating deadlines for video and motion tasks, negotiating timelines between the Art Account Manager and the video/motion team, and ensuring projects align with stakeholder goals. You'll also manage the global distribution of video assignments, ensuring they are allocated to the best resources, all within our project management system, Workfront.
How you'll make an impact
- Facilitates the scheduling of video/motion project-related meetings, applies our average turnaround timing to stakeholder requests, ensures our video/motion team's adherence to deadlines, and adheres to the Art Department's project release process.
- Ensures the video/motion team has all they need to do great work, such as access to the correct files, related assets and a clear deadline.
- Manages the full internal flow of all video/motion projects to ensure flawless execution and timely delivery to Art Account Managers to meet deadlines.
- Keeps Art Account Managers apprised of video/motion project statuses as requested, and connecting on needs or issues in a timely manner.
- Helps avoid delays in stakeholder feedback by utilizing effective reminder tactics as well as proactively escalating and addressing issues where timelines are in jeopardy or other information is needed in order for the video/motion team to proceed as scheduled.
- Ensures quality control by communicating closely with team members to allow enough time and resources for projects to route through proofreading, quality control and archiving process.
- Liases with Video Producer, core team creative leads and Account team to understand and plan for resource needs, assignments and scheduling.
- Proactively manages the movement of video/motion projects through the team and project workflow system, based on timing requirments, needs and availability.
About you
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in media arts, communications, marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years relevant video/motion-related project management experience in a marketing or agency setting working with a creative team.
- Strong skills working within in project management software, Workfront experience a plus.
- Proficient in English
Preferred Requirements
- Experience working with creative teams in the financial, insurance or benefits consulting space is a plus.
- Video production, editing and/or motion graphics background is strongly preferred.
- Experience crafting and handling detailed work plans based on outlined scope and objectives
