We currently have a position available for an experienced Pubic Works Construction Inspector. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with City requirements and CIP projects within streets, traffic, parks, water, wastewater, sewer, etc. The ideal candidate(s) will have supporting certification and experience with Public Works municipalities on their resume.
Requirements
Detail-oriented, dependable, and have good communication skills
Ability to read and comprehend detailed engineering drawings, plans and specs.
Extensive knowledge and experience of Public Works and Inspection process, reports, plans, & specs.
Knowledgeable and experienced in completing Labor Compliance interviews
Proficient in Microsoft suite
Experienced in providing Construction Inspection Services for Street, Traffic, Water/Wastewater, and Park improvement projects.
Strong ability to take supporting photo documentation for Daily Report processes
Strong knowledge and experience with RFIs, Change Orders, Submittals, etc.
Experience with Public Works within the State of California
Must have a minimum of 5 years of CIP experience with Municipalities
Must have a CA Driver's License
