Description
The City of Roseville is seeking a motivated and creative individual to join the 4 time, National Gold Medal finalist Parks, Recreation and Libraries’ Department on the Park Development team. The ideal candidate may hold a landscape architecture license, is one who thrives in performing a variety of projects and responsibilities and is a proactive problem-solver. This candidate should be people focused, able to work independently, is agile in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaboration and team-work.
The City of Roseville continues to grow, with a robust capital project program that averages 5-6 new projects a year, an increasing number of annual rehabilitation work and an average of 30 on-demand projects a year. The Park Development Division is involved with planning, designing and building new parks; manages park and facility major rehabilitation projects; performs plan reviews for City-wide and private development and oversees construction of street landscapes. IMPORTANT NOTICE: The current opening is a limited term, benefitted and full-time position. The term length for the current vacancy is not guaranteed but cannot exceed 36 months. In accordance with Personnel Rules 3.06.095, a limited term employee is an employee hired into a position for a specific project with a specific ending date. The position shall last only for so long as the project or specific need for which it was created exists, but in no event longer than thirty-six (36) months full-time employment or equivalent without a break of at least three (3) months.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Park Development Project Manager I
Experience and Training Experience: No professional experience is required.
AND
Training: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in landscape architecture, park planning, construction or project management, public administration, business administration, engineering or a related field.
License or Certificate Possession of a valid California driver’s license by date of appointment. Possession of a Project Management certificate is desirable. Possession of a Landscape Architect license issued by the State of California is desirable.
Park Development Project Manager II
In addition to the qualifications for the Park Development Project Manager I:
Experience and Training Experience: Two years of professional experience performing duties similar to that of a Park Development Project Manager I with the City of Roseville or two years of responsible landscape architecture experience under a licensed architect.
AND
Training: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in landscape architecture, park planning, construction or project management, public administration, business administration, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
License or Certificate Possession of a valid California driver’s license by date of appointment. Possession of a Project Management certificate is desirable. Possession of a Landscape Architect license issued by the State of California is desirable.
