Job Title: Accounting Manager – Construction Industry Focus

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $100,000 – $140,000 / year (DOE) + Annual Profit-Sharing Bonus + Clear pathway to partnership position for CPA credentialed candidates.

Work Model: Hybrid: 3 days in office, with flexible hours & minimum local travel.

About the Opportunity: Graham & Company is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our collaborative team following a upcoming retirement. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will manage our construction client base, prepare financial statements, and handle related corporate tax returns.

Key Responsibilities

•        Financial Reporting: Prepare compiled and reviewed financial statements (no audits) for construction clients in accordance with SSARS using Excel templates.
•        Tax Preparation: Prepare corporate income tax returns utilizing Lacerte software.
•        Engagement Leadership: Review tax and financial statement engagements prior to Partner sign-off.
•        Client & Strategic Management: Maintain direct client relationships, support business development, and contribute to process improvements and firm growth.

Qualifications

•        Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience.
•        Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in public accounting or specialized construction accounting.
•        Licensure: Active CPA license preferred (or equivalent non-CPA construction accounting expertise).
•        Core Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving, engagement management, and communication skills.
