We are seeking a creative and talented Visual Communications Specialist to join our team full-time in our Denver, Omaha, or Lincoln studio. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to challenging, meaningful work within an award-winning, collaborative practice committed to design excellence.
The Visual Communications Specialist develops high-quality visual content that strengthens BVH’s brand and supports marketing, business development, and client-facing communications. This hands-on role is responsible for creating compelling collateral, proposals, presentations, and other visual materials that reflect BVH’s brand standards and communicate ideas with clarity, consistency, and impact.
Working closely with the Marketing Director and Marketing & BD Lead, the Specialist will help manage corporate communications channels, oversee visual media, and serve as the marketing team’s primary design resource. The ideal candidate brings a strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and the ability to translate ideas and information into thoughtful, engaging visual communications.
This position is based in our Denver, Lincoln, or Omaha studio, operating under a hybrid model (3 days in-office / 2 days remote).

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
4-6 years of marketing and graphic design experience.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
Strong visual design skills, including layout, typography, and strict brand consistency.Experience managing social media channels, websites, and email platforms.
Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
Experience with or interest in utilizing Generative AI design and productivity tools (e.g., Photoshop Generative Fill, Adobe Firefly, Google Gemini, etc) to accelerate concept brainstorming, content drafting, and asset resizing.
Experience in the AEC (Architecture/Engineering/Construction) industry is a plus.
Skills in photography and/or video capture and editing are a plus.
Experience with PR and media relations is a plus.

Expected salary range for this position is $65,000 – $85,000 per year, depending on geographic location, candidate experience, and skill set. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Ongoing management and support of marketing calendar and task list tools to support marketing team with execution of marketing, event, and corporate communications efforts.
Business Development & Proposal Support (25% Focus)
Provide support to the Marketing and BD teams by coordinating and designing high-impact proposals and collateral, when needed:
Support with editing, proofreading, and final writing for proposals in collaboration with team members Design proposals using Adobe InDesign.
Create engaging presentation slides in Google Slides.
Produce professional leave-behind print materials.
Interview preparation, including the creation of persuasive pitch visuals and deliverable coordination.
Oversee firm-wide graphic standards and template libraries to ensure 100% brand consistency across all pursuit materials.
