As an Operations CTB Project Manager within Payments Product Innovation, you lead strategic change-the-bank programs from concept through execution to deliver operationally-ready outcomes. You partner across product, technology, and operations to define requirements, manage delivery, and ensure alignment to business strategy and risk standards. You communicate progress and decisions through clear governance, senior updates, and disciplined milestone tracking.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive regional change and transformation initiatives across Payments Product operations.
- Assess operational impacts for new initiatives, including capacity, operating model, regulatory obligations, and controls.
- Ensure operational requirements are defined during requirements gathering and solution design.
- Partner with product and technology to confirm designs and builds meet operational and business needs.
- Develop trusted relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across supported businesses and functions.
- Foster a collaborative environment with shared accountability and mutual responsibility.
- Apply structured problem-solving and design thinking to address strategic priorities.
- Communicate status, milestones, critical path, and scorecards to stakeholders and senior management.
- Coordinate working groups and steering committees, including agendas, materials, minutes, and action ownership.
- Define project workstreams and operational readiness plans to ensure high-quality, on-time implementation.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and controls activities including audit/regulatory support.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrate 9+ years of Operations/Technology and/or Product experience with exposure to eCommerce, FinTech, or Payments innovation.
- Exhibit strong knowledge of payment products, operational processes, and supporting systems.
- Lead complex project delivery with proven end-to-end execution and accountability for outcomes.
- Communicate clearly in English with strong written, verbal, and senior-level presentation skills.
- Apply strong time management to meet strict deadlines and multi-stakeholder objectives.
- Resolve conflict effectively through proactive, open, and structured stakeholder management.
- Maintain a strong risk-and-controls mindset, including experience supporting audits and regulatory requirements.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Hold a University or Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Leverage data analytics, data visualization, and/or intelligent automation to improve delivery and decision-making.
- Deliver programs in one or more domains such as Real Time Payments, Blockchain, FX, e-commerce, Alternative Payments, ISO20022, or SWIFT.
- Build cohesive teams across regions using flexible interpersonal style and motivational leadership.
- Escalate emerging risks early and initiate actions to mitigate operational and delivery impacts.
- Adapt quickly to new structures, processes, and evolving delivery requirements while maintaining standards.
- Champion People First initiatives supporting wellness, development, training, and recognition.
