Director of Business Development
We're looking for a results-driven Director of Business Development to accelerate growth of our
infrastructure Right of Way and Permitting solution and develop new revenue streams for our
next-generation cloud platform with Al/ML capabilities.
The ideal candidate will:
Have success in selling services or software to Transportation/Transit, local Government, and/or
oil/gas/midstream, renewables, utilities clients.
Knowledge of land record management/right-of-way acquisition, real estate asset and permitting.
Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify new markets and clients, using networking, cold calling
and social media.
Relationship Building: Actively engage prospects and help them navigate their internal buying
processes. Leveraging existing relationships an advantage.
Sales and Negotiation: Conduct presentations, support product demos, negotiate and close deals.
Thorough follow-up, consistent engagement and methodical pursuit progress a must.
Customer Success: Contribute to customer satisfaction and retention.
Reporting and Analysis: Track and report sales metrics.
Coordination with Operations and Product Development: Continuous engagement with project
delivery to develop new solutions.
Support or lead product demos
Requirements
Skills/Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years of industry related business development
Communication/negotiation: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Sales Experience: Demonstrated ability in B2B sales, Saas sales
Relationship Building: Strong relationship-building skills
Analytical/Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze data and develop solutions
Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of the product and competitive landscape.
Solid presentation skills with high energy level and professionalism.
Support various conferences including IRWA annual/local conferences and meetings, AASHTO, etc.
and travel to client locations nationally as appropriate. Up to 40% of travel may be required.
Bachelor's degree/equivalent experience preferred.
