Description

Responsibilities: this role will lead all Treasury project balance sheet related activities, advise the business on any related matters and drive all Treasury initiatives forwards. Essentially this position will handle projects around overall funding and liquidity management for the bank. It will require the design, implementation and monitoring of the liquidity risk framework for the business. It will also encompass cash management and the associated risk, control and governance.

1. Implement governance standards and continually update project deliverables
2. Prepare status reporting for key stakeholders as required
3. Oversee treasury cost management activities
4. Provide required support including but not limited to scheduling and minute taking, reporting and stakeholder liaison

Core Skills:

1. 12 -20 years experience in a senior Project Management or Portfolio Management Treasury/ Balance Sheet / Liquidity Risk Management/role in a financial institution ideally an investment bank
2. Project experience in the design and implementation of balance sheet framework and an excellent understanding of the financial regulatory environment
3. An understanding of liquidity and funding and resolution planning
4. Strong Project skills - quantitative and analytical
5. Project methodology experience is essential
6. In depth treasury knowledge within a project capacity
7. A sound understanding of governance standards, finance and business management
8. Must possess executive-level communication skills
9. Ability to drive stakeholder management toward desired outcomes and excellent presentation skills
