Description
The Business Transformation Office (BTO) leads critical change initiatives that create tangible value for clients and advisors in the $6B+ Wealth Management business. Our programs, sponsored by C-suite executives, span growth, regulatory, and location strategy. The team partners cross-functionally with Senior Management, Front Office Advisors, Product Specialists, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Technology, and Marketing to implement complex, transformational change.As an Executive Director, Business Transformation Project Manager in our Wealth Management team, you will define, refine, and deliver transformation programs that impact the client and advisor experience. You will leverage your expertise in program delivery, regulatory change, and cross-functional leadership to implement solutions that support business growth and compliance. Job Responsibilities
- Guide the delivery of major regulatory and controls initiatives with cross-functional partners
- Design and implement compliance strategies by analyzing obligations within existing business models
- Establish and manage robust governance for ongoing business and controls-partner engagement
- Engage product and business stakeholders to own changes required for compliance
- Lead and influence stakeholders toward effective decision-making
- Embrace ambiguity and adapt to shifting priorities
- Lead individual programs and assist in developing and deploying strategic operating models
- Organize programs into discrete workstreams and engage team members, providing coaching and feedback
- Conduct key workstream meetings or working groups with functional stakeholders
- Lead the design and implementation of full operating models, focusing on regulatory obligations and sustainable processes
- Identify challenges, gaps, and opportunities for improvement, reporting findings clearly
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Hold an MBA (or equivalent)
- Demonstrate 10 years of project management experience
- Exhibit expertise in strategic consulting, management consulting, or process improvement
- Possess knowledge of financial products and commissioned-based advisor business models
- Lead compliance, control, or legal initiatives and d
eliver large-scale, complex projects from planning to execution - Define and analyze problem statements, translating them into solutions
- Develop detailed operating models for business changes
- Understand and interpret complex, principle-based regulations
- Guide governance processes, highlighting and documenting risks and decisions
- Leverage understanding of client and advisor wealth management processes
- Create and deliver compelling presentations for senior leadership

- Manage a team of skilled project resources, providing effective coaching and feedback
