Description
ABOUT SERVICE COUNTRY
Service Country is a PE-backed home services consolidation platform operating across 12 portfolio companies spanning HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and adjacent trades.
With aggressive growth underway and a clear path to exit, Service Country’s central marketing function operates much like an internal agency: setting strategy, building brands, and driving execution across every business in the portfolio.
This is a fast-moving, high-visibility environment where marketing directly supports local operators while also shaping the broader platform story for leadership, investors, and board members.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This role sits at the center of a high-growth platform moving at a pace most marketers rarely experience.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you’ll support day-to-day marketing execution across all 12 portfolio companies. You’ll help operators grow their local businesses by equipping them with content, reporting, campaign support, and actionable marketing insights.
You’ll work across multiple brands simultaneously, coordinating campaigns, scaling content, building reports, supporting vendor and agency workflows, and helping each portfolio company show up consistently and compellingly in its local market.
This is an ideal role for a hands-on marketer who can move quickly, manage details across multiple brands, connect marketing activity to business outcomes, and communicate clearly with operators, agencies, vendors, leadership, and internal stakeholders.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Support marketing campaign execution across portfolio companies, translating platform-level strategy into action across digital, social, email, local, and brand channels.
Create and scale content across multiple brands and verticals, including copy, imagery, email templates, social posts, local market materials, and other campaign assets.
Manage content development alongside the digital marketing agency, ensuring brand consistency, timely execution, and alignment with each company’s local market needs.
Develop content strategies built for both traditional SEO and emerging AI-driven discovery, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and other LLM-based search environments.
Create helpful, authoritative content designed to improve brand visibility, search performance, local authority, and citation potential across both search engines and AI platforms.
Build and maintain marketing performance reports in RYNOTrax and Marketing Pro, tracking core metrics such as lead volume, conversion rates, cost per lead, channel attribution, and campaign ROI.
Translate marketing data into clear, actionable insights for operators, leadership, and internal stakeholders.
Connect marketing activity to business outcomes, showing how campaigns, content, and channel performance influence booked jobs, revenue growth, and customer acquisition across the portfolio.
Work within ServiceTitan to support marketing workflows, track customer and campaign data, and coordinate with operators on campaign performance.
Develop polished presentation materials for leadership updates, investor-facing discussions, and board-level reporting.
Coordinate with operators, vendors, agencies, and internal stakeholders across the portfolio to keep projects organized, moving, and on schedule.
Help build, refine, and document scalable marketing playbooks as the platform grows and onboards new companies.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
The one thing we’re firm on: 1–3 years of marketing experience in a hands-on role.
Beyond that, we’re less focused on checking boxes and more interested in finding someone hungry, curious, detail-oriented, and ready to grow. The qualifications below reflect what would help you succeed here, not gates you have to pass through.
WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED
You’re comfortable working with marketing data, whether through Google Analytics, GA4, or a similar reporting platform. You can read performance metrics and begin turning them into practical insights.
You’re comfortable learning marketing systems. Experience with ServiceTitan, Marketing Pro, CRM tools, or marketing automation platforms is helpful, but not required.
You understand that search is changing. You have some working knowledge of how content, SEO, brand authority, E-E-A-T, and AI-powered discovery intersect across platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and traditional search engines.
You can write clearly across different brands and audiences. You know how to adapt tone so a plumbing company, an electrical contractor, and a premium HVAC brand do not all sound like the same template.
You can manage multiple projects at once, keep details organized, and maintain momentum across different stakeholders, deadlines, and brands.
You can build clean, polished decks and presentation materials that are clear enough to share with operators, leadership, or internal stakeholders.
Experience in home services, local services, multi-location businesses, franchising, or field services is helpful, but not required.
