Position Overview:
Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Communications, the new Marketing Manager position plays a key role in shaping how St. George's School is experienced by both internal and external audiences. This position is responsible for developing and delivering integrated marketing strategies and campaigns that strengthen the School's reputation, support admissions, Advancement and institutional priorities, and bring the St. George's story to life. Working as part of a collaborative Marketing & Communications Team, the Marketing Manager will develop impactful campaigns across digital, print, events, and experiential channels. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking and strong writing skills with creativity, bringing fresh ideas and a strong visual sensibility to every project. We are looking for someone with an exceptional creative eye — someone who enjoys transforming ideas into memorable campaigns that surprise, delight, and inspire. Whether launching an Admissions or Advancement Campaign, promoting a major school event, or celebrating student achievements by magnifying their amazing stories, this individual understands how to create meaningful experiences and marketing that captures attention while reflecting the excellence of the St. George's brand. Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Development
Develop and execute the School's annual marketing strategy aligned with institutional priorities.
Create integrated, audience-focused marketing communications campaigns that strengthen the St. George's brand and support admissions, advancement, and internal and external community engagement.
Develop creative and strategic campaign concepts that engage and inspire prospective families, current families, alumni, donors, and employees.
Identify opportunities to enhance the School's market presence through innovative marketing initiatives.
Measure campaign performance and recommend continuous improvements.
Brand Stewardship
Champion and protect the St. George's brand across all marketing initiatives.
Ensure a consistent and elevated brand experience across digital, print, and campus touchpoints.
Provide strategic marketing guidance to departments across the School.
Creative Collaboration
Partner closely with the Marketing and Communications Team to develop visually engaging campaigns and marketing materials.
Contribute creative direction, messaging, and campaign concepts while ensuring projects are delivered on time and on brand.
Coordinate photography, videography, and other creative production to support institutional storytelling with internal and external contractors.
Digital Marketing
Lead digital marketing initiatives including paid advertising, social media campaigns, email marketing, and website promotion in local and international markets.
Collaborate on website marketing strategy and optimization, as well as content writing and creation.
By consulting with key internal stakeholders, create social media editorial calendars to ensure strategic storytelling.
Monitor analytics and campaign performance to improve engagement and conversion.
Oversee website content development and liaise with external contractors (content, photography, and videography).
Admissions Marketing
Work closely with the Admissions Team to develop marketing strategies that attract prospective families both locally and internationally.
Create campaigns and marketing assets to support recruitment initiatives and Admissions events.
Enhance the prospective family journey through thoughtful and engaging marketing experiences.
Vendor & Budget Management
Manage relationships with external agencies, photographers, videographers, printers, and digital marketing partners.
Working with the Director, oversee marketing budgets and ensure effective use of resources.
Collaboration & Leadership
Build strong relationships across departments and provide strategic marketing advice.
Lead cross-functional marketing projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Foster a collaborative, creative, and solutions-focused approach to marketing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related discipline.
Five to eight years of progressive marketing and communications experience.
Demonstrated success developing integrated marketing campaigns and brand strategies.
Strong understanding and career experience within digital marketing, content strategy, social media, paid media,and campaign analytics.
Strong experience working with platforms such as Google Workspace, Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite (Instagram and Facebook), Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Stock, Adobe Express, Lightroom, and Photoshop), Canva, and Rebrandly. Experience with Blackbaud, PowerSchool, and BrightArrow is a plus.
Experience using video editing software such as CapCut. Ability to use Adobe Premiere Pro is considered an asset.
Experience working with designers, creative teams, and external agencies.
Excellent writing, communication, and project management skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience within education, independent schools, or purpose-driven organizations is considered an asset.
Willing and able to work occasional evenings and/or weekends as needed to support\ campaign events.

A competitive salary within the range of $85,000–$115,000, commensurate with experience.
Three weeks' vacation to start, plus additional school closure days (approx 7-10 per year, separate to statutory holidays).
