Join a global, highly skilled engineering team at the heart of Advantest's cutting edge IC test solutions. As a Project Manager ASIC post-silicon validation, you will help validate and characterize key technologies that enable the next generation of semiconductor testing.
You provide overall direction for the validation of ASICs designed by and for Advantest. You start with requirements and drive projects until statistical analysis and final delivery of a production test. For that, you will lead a team of engineers dedicated to meeting technical goals, schedules and quality commitments.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with chip design engineers, software engineers, other engineering disciplines and external service providers. With your team you will translate requirements into robust designs, solve challenging technical problems, and deliver high quality results on schedule and at scale.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Delivery of HW/SW-based test solutions for devices in a wide range of applications in large high-speed digital, analog, RF and power ICs segments.
• Production test and characterization of functionality and performance
• Ownership of planning and monitoring projects' schedules, scope and risk
• Status reporting and stakeholder communication
• Collaboration across functions and coordination with engineering teams in hardware and software, and external partners.
• Lead and motivate a team of 6 engineers by providing priorities, feedback and coaching
• Develop and grow individuals and the team

• BS in Electrical Engineering/Physics/Computer Science or equivalent with over 5 years semiconductor test experience.
• Experience in management of SW projects
• Experience in device- and test-program coding and debugging skills for V93k
• Knowledge of digital, mixed signal, RF and power device test methodologies
• Experience with outsourced ASIC supply chains
• Basic knowledge about Linux* environment and using programming languages
• Experience leading teams
• Strong team working and problem-solving skills, superior communication skills (cross-functional, internal/external, cross-cultural) across hierarchy levels
• Fluent English language skills (German language skills would be an added advantage)
