Primary Purpose of the Job

To manage and successfully execute the Decommissioning of Offshore Assets in Al Karkara, IS and MM Fields Project with single point responsibility and accountability within the allocated cost, schedule and to QatarEnergy quality standards.

Required Experience and Skills

1. 20 years offshore projects experience (minimum 10 years in Offshore Project Management in Oil & Gas and 5 years in middle management Position). A minimum of two (2) years' experience in offshore oil & gas decommissioning projects or similar is preferred.
2. Accomplished communication skills and effective interpersonal relationship & management skills.
3. Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
4. Excellent motivation, leadership and team building skills
5. Accomplished project management and planning skills.
6. Excellent conflict resolution, negotiation, mediation and arbitration skills with the ability to influence others and manage change.
7. Sound understanding of all engineering disciplines.
8. Good understanding of Health, Safety, Environments & QA/QC issues and appreciation of their impacts on projects.
9. Excellent knowledge of Corporate/International standards related to Oil & Gas Industry

Educational Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering
2. Specialized courses in Project Management, Leadership, Team Building skills, Negotiation and Conflict Management.
