Project Manager Earth Observation Missions (m/f/d)

As an experienced and dedicated Project Manager (m/f/d), yo will be responsible for the sccessfl implementation of exciting and complex proposals and projects in the domain of Earth Observation in Phases /A and B1. Yo will lead interdisciplinary project teams and ensre efficient collaboration and optimal performance. Yo will play a key role in the planning, coordination and management of projects to ensre that they are completed on time, cost-efficiently and to the highest qality.
Yor Tasks

Leading the preparation and exection of Earth Observation mission and system proposals for ESA, EC, DLR, commercial cstomers etc.

Leading the project team throghot the development of the project

Organize and lead reglar project meetings to plan and review the project progress

Analyse, define and coordinate reqirements with the project team and the cstomer(s)

Management and co-ordination of individal project partners and sbcontractors

Be responsible for the cost, schedle and performance of stdies or projects

Leading the negotiations, strengthening or relationships with clients, and acting as a liaison to key stakeholders in client organisations

Yor Qalifications

Sccessfl completion of a degree in aerospace, engineering or a related field that demonstrates yor expertise

At least five years of relevant practical experience, preferably in the dynamic space indstry, where yo have demonstrated yor practical knowledge

Knowledge of space projects, inclding systems and operations

Proven experience in preparing persasive proposals that emphasizes yor ability to make effective presentations.

A deep nderstanding of complicated instittional strctres that will enable yo to navigate or challenging environment

Passion and knowledge in the field of space is not only desirable, bt is the fondation for or mtal sccess. An nderstanding of Earth Observation remote sensing principles (optical and microwave) wold be an advantage

Experience with applicable standards (ECSS) is desirable

Exceptional commnication and negotiation skills

Strong reslt orientation, operational efficiency, high sense of responsibility and ability to make pragmatic and timely decisions

High level of flexibility, willingness to work in international teams and ability to meet tight schedles

Proficiency in the English langage
