Description

A prestigious investment bank is looking for a talented IT Infrastructure Project Manager to join their first-rate team. The role is multi-year ongoing and there is a possibility to convert to FTE over time.

1. Initially working on regional / global, VDI Desktop builds and migration projects
2. Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones and objectives
3. Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure effective project implementation
4. Identify and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies, proactively communicating and resolving challenges
5. Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular status updates to key stakeholders
6. Ensure project deliverables and outcomes meet or exceed quality and performance standards
7. Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process optimisations
8. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project team members

REQUIREMENTS:

1. 10+ years' experience as an IT infrastructure project manager, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
2. More senior candidates will be considered for a lead role.
3. Track record of regional build outs inc. trading floor / middle & back office
4. Experienced with VDI Desktop builds and migration
5. Extensive banking industry experience
6. Expertise in managing complex, multi-stakeholder IT infrastructure projects
7. Strong project management skills, with the ability to develop and execute detailed project plans
8. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
9. In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure technologies and best practices
10. Proficient in the use of project management tools and methodologies
11. Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline
