Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan, execute, monitor, and close Data & Technology initiatives across multiple concurrent projects, spanning data engineering, business intelligence/analytics, and application or UI/UX development. The role drives governance, risk management, compliance, stakeholder communication, and executive-level reporting while coordinating cross-functional technical resources.
Key Responsibilities

• Define and deliver BI/Analytics and Data & Technology development and implementation plans throughout the full project lifecycle
• Develop and manage detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resources, and milestones
• Coordinate data engineers, BI/Power BI developers, UI/UX and application developers across teams
• Apply business analysis to gather requirements, shape solution design, and maintain traceability
• Maintain RAID logs with weekly updates and clear mitigation plans
• Develop and manage Communication Strategy & Plans for stakeholders at all levels
• Oversee vendor procurement, contracts, and SLA performance
• Run weekly updates, monthly dashboards, and quarterly Steering Committee presentations
• Conduct lessons-learned reviews and prepare project closure and handover packages

Required Skills

• X+ years of project management experience, ideally in data platform, BI/analytics, or technology implementation
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary technical resources including non-direct reports
• Strong business analysis skills - BRDs, functional and technical specifications, test strategies
• Project governance and risk management: RAID logs, steering committees, escalation management
• Vendor relationship management, contracts, and SLA accountability
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills across technical and executive audiences
• Working knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA, or equivalent data-privacy regulations

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Confluence, SharePoint, or equivalent knowledge repositories
• Power BI development coordination experience
• Donor reporting standards familiarity
