Description

Our client is a global fund services firm with a strong presence in Asia. For continued growth across Greater China, they are seeking a high-caliber Sales Director based in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities

1. Formulate and execute sales strategies to originate new business and achieve individual revenue targets across Greater China.
2. Build and maintain C-suite relationships with asset managers, hedge funds, and private equity firms in mainland China and Hong Kong.
3. Lead the end-to-end commercial lifecycle, including deal origination, discovery pitching, fee negotiation, and mandate closing.
4. Maintain rigorous record-keeping in CRM systems to track prospect interactions, manage the sales pipeline, and ensure accurate forecasting.
5. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to position the firm's solutions effectively.

Requirements

1. 10+ years of sales or business development experience within fund services or asset management industries (Candidates with less than 10 years of experience would be considered for an Associate Director role)
2. Deep understanding of global fund structures (e.g., Cayman, Luxembourg, HK OFC), fund administration, and/or compliance services would be highly regarded.
3. Established, active network of senior decision-makers across alternative investment managers and fund founders in Greater China.
4. Strong commercial acumen, negotiation expertise, and a track record of driving revenue growth
5. Excellent fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin
