Description
We're hiring a Senior Account Manager / Project Manager to be the operational and relational backbone of our client accounts. You'll own the day-to-day of 5-10 client relationships end-to-end, from kickoff through delivery, from the timeline in Monday.com to the status call on Google Meet.
This is a senior role with real authority. You'll be the person our clients call. You'll be empowered to run your accounts and make decisions without needing the founders in every meeting.
What you'll own:
Client relationships
- Primary day-to-day point of contact for a portfolio of 6-10 clients across a range of industries and account sizes
- Running status meetings, strategic check-ins, and quarterly reviews
- Facilitating client discussions to align on goals and direction for each project
- Keeping clients within scope, recognizing when requests go beyond what's been agreed, surfacing it quickly, and bringing the founders in when it's time for a commercial conversation
- Building client-facing decks and presentations that move work forward
Project execution
- Owning timelines, resourcing, and workflow across all assigned accounts in Monday.com
- Briefing the creative team on deliverables and deadlines once strategy is in place
- Coordinating with external content creators on deliverables
- Quality control: reviewing creative and production material at every stage before it reaches the client
- Scheduling team members onto projects to make sure the right people are on the right work at the right time
- Managing project budgets and tracking expenses against them
Agency operations
- Maintaining project documentation: schedules, reference material, specs, budgets, purchase orders
- Keeping project folder structures organized in Dropbox
- Reviewing vendor / freelancer invoices and routing them to our bookkeeper
- Researching tools and process improvements that could make us more efficient
- Surfacing risks (timeline, scope, client satisfaction) before they become problems
Requirements
You're probably a fit if you have:
- 4+ years in agency account management, project management, or a blend of both
- Demonstrated success owning client relationships at the senior stakeholder level
- Strong project management instincts, you've kept multi-stakeholder work on track
- Experience juggling a meaningful portfolio of accounts (not just one or two)
- Comfort across client types, we work with B2B, corporate, and other clients, so versatility matters
- Strong written and verbal communication; comfort writing emails and presenting to clients
- Strong project management software experience, especially with Monday.com
- The temperament to be both warm with clients and firm about scope
- Familiarity with content production and social media (a plus, not required)
