Job Description

In Bogotá - Colombia, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager with more than 5 years of experience managing complex, long-duration projects within agencies, corporate environments, or global networks. Their mission will focus on serving as the key connection point between clients, agency partners, and internal teams, leading and coordinating multiple workstreams while overseeing the full project lifecycle, from initiation through implementation to final delivery. This role will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, driving the successful execution of operational solutions, managing senior stakeholder communities across the Publicis Groupe ecosystem, and maintaining efficient systems, workflows, and project governance. The Senior Project Manager is expected to build strong relationships with creative, strategy, production, business affairs, and finance teams, acting as a trusted and respected partner across the organization. They will be responsible for project estimation, budget and scope management, burn tracking, invoicing coordination, risk identification, issue resolution, and status reporting, ensuring teams meet their commitments and projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong financial acumen, the ability to navigate complex organizational structures, proactively raise concerns, propose improvements, and investigate solutions that drive operational excellence and business impact.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects or one large, complex project ($1MM+)
• Lead project teams in strategic planning and decision-making
• Ability to navigate uncertainty and make tactical decisions
• Partners closely with engagement/account lead and builds client relationship
• Supports growth opportunities, both externally with existing clients and internally with new business teams
• Develops staff plans for new opportunities and develops project Scope of Work
• Acts a leader to mid-level/junior project team members and instills confidence in project partners
• Develop project plans, including timelines, resources and estimates
• Reviews project intake and collaborates with disciplines to define project scope and deliverables
• Setup projects using department tools (i.e., Teams, LionBox)
• Leads project kick off and onboarding
• Own hot sheets and inform stakeholders with regular updates on project status
• Track project progress, manage risks and communicate escalations to discipline leads
• Takes meeting notes and tracks all feedback and review rounds
• Pulls burn reports from finance and communicates overages to leadership team
• Works with resourcing leads to make sure projects are staffed appropriately
• Evaluate project outcomes and conduct lessons learned sessions
• Archive all deliverables, proposals and documents
• Client facing, in tandem with client engagement lead
• Integrate AI-driven tools into creative and production processes to boost efficiency, elevate content quality, and stay ahead of emerging trends in technology and storytelling

Qualifications

• Experience as a project manager, producer or account manager for an ad agency
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
• Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented and capable of self-managing and multitasking in a fast-paced, demanding environment
• Knowledge of inter-departmental workflows and resources
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Able to apply critical and strategic thinking
• Stress-tolerant, quick-thinking and accurate
• Excellent collaboration skills with ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
• Content production experience
• Client-facing experience
• Experience with various platforms including Microsoft365 Tools (Excel, Word, PPT, Teams, etc.), Smartsheet, Float
