ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will join SoftServe's growing Delivery Unit as a Project Manager, supporting both presales initiatives and the successful delivery of software development projects. Working in an Agile environment, you will help cross-functional teams and stakeholders align on priorities, scope, timelines, and business goals while driving predictable delivery and long-term client satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage existing projects, ensuring successful delivery within agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations
• Participate in multiple presales activities, supporting estimations, planning, proposals, and client discussions
• Define and manage project scope, deliverables, milestones, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations
• Coordinate work across cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, QA, business, and client-side stakeholders
• Apply Agile project management practices to support transparent planning, execution, reporting, and continuous improvement
• Facilitate project ceremonies, status meetings, planning sessions, demos, and retrospectives
• Track project progress, identify blockers, and proactively drive resolution
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, plans, and delivery artifacts
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and trust
• Support team performance, collaboration, and delivery predictability

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience managing software development or IT service delivery projects
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and project management best practices
• Proven experience managing client-facing projects and distributed engineering teams
• Practical experience with scope, schedule, risk, quality, and integration management
• Experience tracking project metrics, delivery KPIs, and project health to support informed decision-making
• Exposure to fixed-price delivery models, business development activities, or vendor transition initiatives
• Strong coaching, stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Comfortable working proficiency in English for collaborating with international clients and distributed teams
• Proficiency in supporting presales activities, including estimations, planning, and proposal development (as an advantage)
• Experience reviewing technical specifications, architecture documentation, or supporting engineering onboarding activities (as an advantage)
