Job Description:

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Banking Technology team in Tokyo. This

role is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of project deliverables, requiring

collaboration with multiple global teams. The successful candidate will manage multiple

workstreams across various technology programs, driving successful outcomes in a dynamic, fast-paced

environment.

Key responsibilities include communicating project objectives, coordinating delivery, facilitating

cross-team sync points, providing end-to-end visibility into deliverable health, and managing

project issues and risks. Job expectations include ensuring that delivery meets stakeholders'

expectations for functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.

• Overall technical lead having end-to-end responsibility of all technical aspects of a

project, including effort estimation and budget management, application design, and

bank technology standard governance, IT security management, SIT and UAT

coordination, and release management, including pre-production implementation and

post-production application support handover

• Work with Product and Operations teams to elicit, define, and prioritize project

requirements.

• Work with Solution Architects to ensure solutions address the requirements

while supporting the bank's technology strategy and standards.

• Work with vendors / in-house developers to translate solutions into system

implementations and manage to ensure on-time delivery.

• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to management promptly

• Address technical queries and issues arising from users, vendors, and developers.

• Be a backup Project Manager for other projects as needed.

• As a member of the Project Management team, when necessary, lead any activities of

the Project Managers, who are responsible for tasks such as Quality Assurance of the

required project deliverables (technical solutions, testing, and change management

evidence, etc.), team meeting minutes/presentations.

Essential requirements:

• 5+ years of solid technical project management experience

• 3+ years of technical experience or a technical degree such as Computer Science

• English at a business level and Native Level Taiwanese

• Experience with organizational requirements related to governance, project reporting,

ECM (Enterprise Change Management) process, and risk management

• Must be a self-starter, capable of working independently and coordinating efforts across

multiple technology teams globally

Nice to have a background:

• Technically strong in system design, technical solutions, test management, and

infrastructure.

• Prior experience implementing banking projects throughout
