Embrace the challenge of steering complex tech projects, fostering growth and technical excellence in a dynamic environment.As a Technical Project Manager II in the Global Technology Admin team, you will support our mission of driving impact in communities through the skills of JPMorgan Chase's tech workforce. We leverage the skilled volunteerism of our tech employees to build tech capacity for socially focused organizations and create tech educational opportunities to engage and inspire students. TFSG partners with various stakeholders across the firm, including HR, Corporate Responsibility, Communications/Marketing, and Legal to serve communities and technology staff across our 23 global technology center locations.
Job responsibilities
- Collaborate with lead program managers to support the successful delivery and end-to-end program management of TFSG Building Tech Capacity programs that enable mission advancement through tech implementation, consultation and education across our India and APAC Tech Center locations.
- Track progress, deliverables, status updates, and issues against program and/or project plans and act as a communications channel for ongoing project status updates and issues.
- Track, manage, and analyze data across programs, report on results and program outputs, outcomes, and impact to internal and external stakeholders.
- Produce and deliver presentations or business cases to the TFSG team and key stakeholders.
- Leverage data analysis and survey feedback to plan for program innovation or expansion.
- Follow risk, controls, governance and data protocols for programs and escalate issues and risks with lead program managers.
- Support the team in showcasing impact through storytelling, data, and partnership with communications/marketing stakeholders.
- Engage and guide volunteers, through trainings and on-going check-ins, to deliver on project goals. Manage relationships with participating nonprofit organizations, through regular check-ins, ensuring successful program delivery.
- Manage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Facilitate communications with a diverse range of stakeholders for the planning and execution of programs.
- Support the management of project resources, budgets, and schedules ensuring efficient allocation and progress towards program goals
- Travel domestically to support in-person execution of programs across India and APAC.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, including presentation and facilitation skills.
- Stay highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment across tactical and strategic initiatives.
- Maintain strong attention to detail, follow-through, and results orientation.
- Exhibit strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to synthesize data and communicate a compelling story.
- Manage time effectively, prioritize, and escalate issues/risks appropriately.
- 3+ years' experience with Project Management or Program Management in previous role(s), including project planning, resource allocation, and risk management; specifically within a global team and at scale.
- Work autonomously, as well as collaborate strongly within a team.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in supporting relationships with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and clients for project success.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies, platforms, and software tools relevant to program scope.
- Experience working with socially focused organizations (nonprofits, social enterprises, schools, etc.) Some technical knowledge and experience with Salesforce or CRM tools is preferred.
